ABSTRACT
The study aimed to develop a Teacher's Creative Thinking Scale (TCTS) to assess the creative thinking skills of secondary school teachers. The 52-item measure is broken down into six dimensions: fluency, flexibility, originality, curiosity, elaboration and boldness. The test's content, face, and construct validity were evaluated through expert judgments and factor analysis. After receiving expert feedback, 11 items were removed from the initial draft of 51 items. The first sample was randomly selected from 105 secondary school teachers in Uttar Pradesh, India. After completing the first try-out, 35 items were finalized. The researchers administered the scale to 225 teachers. As a result of EFA, 11 items were omitted, and CFA confirmed a scale of 24 items. The optimistic results of this study indicate that the scale is valid and reliable for secondary school teachers.
